So much has been going on in our lives the past few weeks! We are FINALLY all settled in to our house....which is perfect!!! Jarrod is loving his new job....and I'm really loving looking for a new job.....NOT!!!!
As most of you know teaching jobs are basically out of the question right now so I have ventured to find something else....still looking! :)
I know that God will put me wherever I am supposed to be at this time. I am keeping faith and praying every day that he will lead me in the right direction.....even if it is the Wal-Mart greeter!!!
I am so in love with this area of Texas!!! Jarrod and I are smack in the middle of our families and very close to many of our college friends! I love that I can go spend the afternoon with my grandmother and paint her fingernails while she tells me stories.....I couldn't be happier!
Courtney invited me to a Ranger's game last Sunday and I was so excited! I missed everyone so much last year and I was so excited to be able to go hang out with one of my friends on a Sunday afternoon! I even got to see Kristen when we were at the game.....so of course we all made plans to see each other at least every other week....duh!!!! Needless to say the game was amazing and so were the seats! We saw Nolan Ryan....no one believes me but I did actually get a picture of his head and we saw Michael Young's momma....she was hilarious!!! I had such a great time!
I've also been on a new cookbook kick as well......anyone who knows me knows that I love weight watchers and everything about it.....maybe I should apply to be a spokes person for them! Anyway.....Hungry Girl (Lisa Lillian) is absolutely fantastic!!! She just came out with a new cookbook call "300 under 300." It's everything you can imagine.....from breakfasts to desserts and everything in between! I've been picking on of her desserts to make every week for my hubby to take to work with him.....even Jarrod loves this food (I just don't tell him what's in it!). I'm also in love with the Skinny Cow Candy.....It's like heaven in your mouth!!!! I felt the need to share because I am always looking for new food finds and I actually found the cookbook BEFORE my mom and my sister.....which was an EPIC WIN for me because I'm always the last one to know about everything!!!!
All-in-all I must say that I could not be happier with my life right now.....with the exception of the "no job" issue....but I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband that never gives up on me and is always so upbeat about my job search! And believe me.....when I do find a job everyone will know! :)
Until Next Time......

Live from Longview for the last time....
I wasn't going to write anything today but I feel the need to share this....
I have recently discovered my husband's love for boxes. I sent him to the U-Haul store the other day to pick up boxes so we could start packing....as soon as he got home he immediately started building boxes!
Now for a little background.....
My mother-in-law told me that when Jarrod was little his art teacher taught him how to make boxes from paper. She said that when she would clean the house or go up to his room she would find boxes all over her house.....even in the cabinets!
So....as we have been packing Jarrod has been stacking his boxes in the storage room! He loves it so much and I love that he loves boxes so much!
Needless to say the past three days that we have been packing I have just been giggling to myself at Jarrod and his boxes.
Today is a bittersweet day.....we are all packed up and getting ready to leave Longview....not actually moving till the end of the month but we are both leaving tomorrow. Jarrod starts his new job on Monday and I will be hanging with my parents until we get to move in.
We are headed to Marshall this afternoon to celebrate Yee-Haw's (Jarrod's dad) birthday.....a little swimming......grilling....and definitely some fruit pizza....but first Jarrod needs to move a few more boxes! :)
Until Next Time.....

Here We Go.....
Ok....I'm only doing this to keep one of my best friend's Courtney Wagley happy/entertained.
About me: I just married the love of my life/best friend (the male version on myself) Jarrod Shepperd. We dated for about 3 1/2 years before we tied the knot.
After coming back from our honeymoon we made a really big decision....We decided to move to Callisburg,TX. We were a little nervous at first, but now we are sooooo excited!!!
I can't wait to see what God has planned for the Shepperd's!
Until Next Time.....
